Recursive Horizons
The Sublime in Incomplete Though
In Recursive Horizons, three artists unite under the core Post-curation axioms of Recursive Generativity, Incompleteness as a Generative Force, and Sublime Emergence.
Yi-Wei Yang’s guzheng performances reflect Incompleteness as a Generative Force, as her innovative improvisations continuously evolve, blending classical and Taiwanese traditions with experimental techniques to create open-ended sonic landscapes.
Calvin Chang’s industrial and glitch compositions perfectly illustrate Recursive Generativity, where each iteration of layered sound and sampling evolves into ever-changing textures, embracing imperfection as a catalyst for new sonic expressions.
Uminari’s fusion of folk harmonies and experimental improvisation embodies Sublime in Dynamic Form, as their introspective, freeform explorations reveal new meaning through recursive cycles of sound re-interpretation.
Together, their works invite the audience to experience sound as a recursive, unfinished horizon, where meaning continuously unfolds through dynamic interactions.
